Artists Through the Ages Focus on Pentecost

The imagery of Pentecost is rich and diverse. Artists take many different approaches. Some focus on the disciples. Some focus on Mary as scripture suggests she remained with the disciples after the Resurrection. Others focus on the drama—the wind, fire, dove or tongues.
